It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Sanders of Nashville, Tennessee, born in Natchez, Mississippi, who passed away on November 18, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Jones Sanders and Walter Richard Sanders; and his sister Agnes Hall. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Tompkins (Tommy), Beth Eckert (Bob), Laura Holzman (Mike) and Evan Sanders (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jake Beesley (Laura), Katie Douglas (Joshua), Tee Tompkins (Caroline), Katie Dick (Hagan), Rich Tompkins (Jenny), Elizabeth Eckert, Robin Eckert (Keith Sorrels), Christine Casteel (Jamie), Thobie Fauver, Addie Holzman, Grace Holzman, Whitney Sanders, Will Sanders and Walter Sanders; his nieces and nephews, John Richard Hall (Donna), Jim Hall (Annie), Rick Sanders (Peggy), Bob Sanders (Kerry) and Lynn Sanders McFarland (Randall); and also, Mary Neal Meador (Cliff), Liz Donner and Sarah Miller (Jim). He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
