He is survived by: his significant other Dorthy Anderson; his siblings, Nancy Norman, Mary Ruth Sterry (LeRoy), Agnes Rye (John) and John M. Coakley; his son Brian D. Briggs (Amber); his grandson Parker Briggs; and also, Emma Lee, Raymond Floyd, Howard Floyd, Lauriece Hankins, Chiqutia Anderson, Kimberly Floyd, Zykeria Hankins, Ricardo Bryant, Antavious Anthony and Kyson White.
