He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Edmondson Evans; his wife Irma Elizabeth Floyd Evans; his siblings, Charlesetta Mills (Ray), Helen Curry (James), Lucille Dean (Warren), Mary Turner (Billy), Ruth Corlew (William) and Roosevelt Evans Jr. (Juanita) of Nashville, TN.; his grandfather Rev. Charles Evans; and his father Rev. Roosevelt Evans.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Evans of Brentwood, TN, Timothy Evans of Nashville, TN and Wallace "Tink" Evans II (Tracy) of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandsons, Chase, Ryan, Darius, Reggie, Demitrius and Noah; and his brothers, Roger Evans (Gloria) of Nashville, TN., Rufus Evans (Vonne) of Nashville, TN. and Paul Evans (Willa) of Nashville, TN.. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Highland Hills Funeral Home & Crematory (2422 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207). Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
