It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Thompson of Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Glenn and Bertie Garner Glenn; her husband John Thompson; her sons, John Calvin and James Randall Thompson (Randy); her grandson Joshua Thompson; and her siblings, John Glenn, Jr., Agnes Hayes, Carrie Tomlin (Tippy), Nora Gilbert and Martha Tomlin.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Maynard; her siblings, Stella Jenkins and Charles Glenn; her granddaughter Ashley Dye of St. Augustine, FL; her great grandchildren, Areya and Nixon Dye of St. Augustine, FL; and her friends, Frankie Jean, Donnie Williams, Tammy and Bobby Perry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens (9090 TN-100, Nashville, TN 37221).
