The memory of Sarah Lavada Duffield in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 21, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Isiah Sissom and Carrie Ann Parker; her husband Alva A. Duffield; her siblings, Charlotte Wright, Norman Sissom and Loyde Dale Sissom; and her nephew Stanley Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Larry R. Malone (Marylou) and Sandra Malone (Al Ketner); her grandson Michael Malone (Alexandria Shelton); her great grandchild Maxwell L. Malone; and her siblings, Wyoma Cox, Roy Sissom (Wanda) and Cenna (Winford). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Memorial Park (660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
