He is survived by: his caregiver Jan Buckner Herbert; his children, John S. Herbert, Alva L. Herbert and Mary Rose Herbert; his granddaughters, Maggie Rose Herbert and Kate Herbert; and his sister Alva Wilk (Frank).
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Funeral Home & Cemetery (1101 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37210).
