She was predeceased by: her husband Bill. She is survived by: her daughter Andrea Jones (Rodney); her granddaughter Brittany Williams (Vernon II); her great grandchildren, Zyla and Vernon III; her niece Gloria C. Johnson; and her friend Joe Ransom. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Highland Hills Funeral Home & Crematory (2422 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM. Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Gordon Memorial United Methodist Church (2334 Herman St, Nashville, TN 37208). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Main Cemetery (1428 Elm Hill Pike, Nashville, TN 37210).
