It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Carl Self of Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Self and Ludie Self; his siblings, Barbara Brown and Carter Self; and his stepbrother David Self.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Hutchison (Terry) and Greg Self; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Craven, Heather Murphy, Jennifer Lagadas (Peter), Jeremy Self (Amber), Rebecca Batchelor (Shane), Rachel Self, Matthew Self and Drew Self (Bella). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, 3 great, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Spring Hill Funeral Home (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216).
