She was predeceased by: her parents, Basanta Kumar Paul and Sushila Rani Paul; her husband Dr. Sushil K. Paulchowdhury; and her son Subrta Paulchowdhury. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Susahanta Paulchowdhury, Monika Paulchowdhury, Dr. Ratna Banik, Dr. Bhola Nath Banik, Dr. Panna Paulchowdhury, Dr. Subir Paul and Debasish Paulchowdhury; her grandchildren, Rupa (Arpita), Joyita (Dababrata), Bhaskar (Shejuti) and Debdeep (Debanjon); and also, Abir and Ahana.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home (2714 Grandview Ave, Nashville, TN 37211).
