We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2025, at the age of 83, Michael Stewart of Nashville, Tennessee, born in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael Stewart to pay them a last tribute.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Michael is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Michael's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Dr. Michael "Mickey" of New York City, Stacy of Chattanooga and Hope Walker (Keith) of Nashville; and his granddaughters, Abigail and Hannah. He is also survived by two sisters, a brother, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Highlands Funeral Home (3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40205). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
