He was predeceased by: his mother Genrose Shipp. He is survived by: his father Charles Alfred Spalding; his wife Mary; his daughters, Ashley (Brendan Brogan) and Alice (Nick Symbas); and his grandchildren, Brendan Brogan III, Michael Brogan and Helen Symbas.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (3900 West End Ave, Nashville, TN 37205). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in his name to Equal Chance for Education, Cumberland University, or Westminster Presbyterian Church.
