He is survived by: his son Michael Tavana (Daria); his grandchildren, Jaykob Tavana, Jayden and Truman; his siblings, Ali Tavana, Amir Tavana, Samad Tavana, Majid Tavana (Sabine), Ruquiya, Fatemeh and Farahnaz; his nephew Shahryar Tavana; and his close friend Joanie King.
