It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann (Winter) Sandler of Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 7, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. William Patrick Winter, Sr. and Thelma Louise Hooberry Winter; her husband Melvin J. Sandler; and her sister Catherine Delores Bardill. She is survived by: her children, William David Sandler, Diane Lynn Wright and Michael J Sandler, Sr. (Kathy); her nephew John A. Gupton IV; her grandchildren, Amelia Claire Cuevas (Jorge), Michael J. Sandler, II, Emma Caroline McKinnon, Kelly Wooten (Nick), Emily Wright and Amy Stephenson (Zack); and her great grandchildren, Andrew Erickson, Jr., Matthew Wooten, Jackson, Silas, Cohen McKinnon, Emilia, Olivia and Cristian Cuevas. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Due to Covid-19, social distancing and masks are required at the funeral mass being held at the Cathedral of the Incarnation on Friday, October, 16, 2020 at 10:00 AM, followed by internment in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
