He is survived by: his child Jerry; his family Jerry; his sister Alice Eadler (Bob); his children, Amelia Strobel Glenn (Bob), Martin Strobel (Ashley), Merrill Bohren (Robbie), Daniel Strobel (Carrie), Margaret Pyburn (late Mark) and Morgan Strobel (Sara); his grandchildren, Tricia, Braden Glenn, Ann Gailor, Sullivan, Charlotte, Gavin Strobel, Catherine Bohren, Alex, Ben, Sam Strobel, Mary Catherine, Mark, Amelia, Helen, Mimi Pyburn, Andrew and Rosemary Strobel; his in-laws, Merrill Hare (Ray), Paula Long (late Bob), Helen Kohl (late John), Everett Holzapfel (late Mary Claire), Carole Donnelly (James), Theresa Hughes (Jack), Dorothy Sollee (Dick), Rita Thompson (Pat), Morgan Holzapfel (Sally), Cathy Caldwell (late Joe), Steve Holzapfel (Sue), Susie Rowland (Terry), Barbara Hobbs (late Bill) and John Holzapfel (Lisa); and his caregiver Jerry.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Buddeke House of Assumption Catholic Church (1226 7th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37208). A rosary will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (3001 Belmont Blvd, Nashville, TN 37212).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pat Holzapfel Strobel Legacy Grant at Christ the King School, Room In The Inn, or The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church.
