With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Luther Lee Hays of Nashville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 28, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Clemmye Moran Hays; his parents, Cornelius Hays and Claire Hays; his siblings, Harold Hays, Sam Hays and Evelyn Hays; and his son Luther Lee Hays, Jr..
He is survived by: his brother Wilbur Hays (Faye); his children, Tricia Hays Parker (Phil) and Jerry Hays (Christi); his grandchildren, Beth Ann Lindish Allgood (Tom, Jr), Sara Lindish Frosheiser (Brendan), Zach Hays (Melanie), Claire Hays Roberson (Patrick) and Aaron Hays (Olivia); and his great grandchildren, Rhett, Nora Allgood, Charlotte Hays, Hannah and Matthew Frosheiser.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tusculum Church of Christ (6117 Nolensville Pk, Nashville, TN 37211). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations to Tusculum Church of Christ in Nashville, TN, Ezell Harding Christian School (http://www.ezellharding.org.), St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
