Lillian Vernon Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Vernon in Nashville, Tennessee, born in Pitkin, Louisiana, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alford and Gladys Pearl Maddox Hilton of Pitkin, Louisiana; and her grandson Joseph Howard Minor. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheri Conlon (Charles), Marlene Gray, Linda Vernon (Melvin Sneed), Brenda Guillory, Ruth Leach (Joel) and Gladys Vernon; and her grandchildren, Laura Dahlke, Juanita Brown, James Wheeler, Geoffrey Gray, John Baker II, Shannon Baker, Kari Pellerin, Bonnie Cruz, Mandy Cruz and Haley Vernon. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at 501 Memorial Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37415.
