He is survived by: his children, Joy Beasley and Jordan Young; his granddaughter ShiaRose Vaughn (Mother Idella Young); and his siblings, Laparee Young, Dometria Montague (Glenn) and Galvin Young. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends.

Viewing was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Highland Hills Funeral Home & Crematory (2422 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207). Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Born Again Church (858 W Trinity Ln, Nashville, TN 37207). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at 1248 Dickerson Rd, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
