In loving memory of Joy Flowers Nichol of Nashville, Tennessee, who departed this world on April 17, 2025 at the age of 97. Joy Flowers leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Clayton Flowers and Vola Cook Flowers; her husband Dr. William King Nichol; and her son-in-law Arnold H. Pittman. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Pittman of Collierville, TN, Nancy Wood (Matthew) of Bristol, TN, Jackie Federico (David) of New Orleans, LA and Roy Nichol (Laura) of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Amy Hodshon (Simon), Michael Federico (Joelle), Matthew Wood (Lindsay), Meghan Giordano (Chris) and Joelle Pittman Elliott (Evan); and her great grandchildren, Raylan, Charlie, Elise, Ellis, Ellie, Henry, Isabelle, Hadley, Lochlan and Grant.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home (429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN 37214).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Joy Nichol.

As an adult, we enjoyed some wonderful visits together in recent year, the memory of which I treasure. My sincere sympathies to RC and the children, Debbie, Nancy, Jackie and Roy William - whom I never got to see as much as I wanted to as a child..
