He is survived by: his significant other Marsha Patterson Anderson; his children, Mary Marshall Anderson Flannery (Ellis) of New York and John Edward Anderson, Jr.; his siblings, Philip (Ann Reid) of Richmond, Carol Plemmons of Nashville, Stephen of Nashville and Barbie Dentinger (Patrick) of Philadelphia; and his siblings-in-law, Stephen Patterson (Sheila) of Clayton and Jeanann Patterson Pardue (Randy) of Knoxville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Henry Catholic Church (6401 Harding Pike, Nashville, TN 37205). A Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
