She is survived by : her spouse Elgia Cook; her children, Carlton (Sharon), Larvette, Patrice (Pinklon) and Brandi; her grandchildren, Courtney, Creighton, Sharonda, Warren, Briana, Tavien, Nya (Ashley) and Nina; her great grandchild Penelope; her siblings, John, Lena, Leroy, Paul, Ronnie (Jackie), James, Clarisse, Lisa, Regina, Stephanie, Larry (Brenda) and Geneva; her great-aunt Marcella; and her aunt Gertrude (Reuben). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved as her own children.
