She was predeceased by: her husband James Dougherty; and her parent Norris Max. She is survived by: her children, Karen Bates (Michael), Pat Dougherty, Paul Dougherty and Laura Maurizi (John). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of friends.
