With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Lonnie Lewis of Nashville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew James Lewis and Mattie Butler Lewis; his wife Martha; and his brother Vernon Wayne Lewis. He is survived by: his children, David Lewis, James J. Lewis, Debbie Herrmann (Ken) and Cindi Power (Cary); his grandchildren, James Michael Minton, Austin Hunter Lewis, Andrew Herrmann and Ashley Herrmann; his great grandchildren, Olivia Anne Minton and Emma Rose Minton; and his siblings, Mary Lewis Smith (Wayne), Sarah Lewis Link (John), Amelia Lewis Phillips (Randall) and Jack Lewis (Michelle).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home (509 N Walnut St, Springfield, TN 37172). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
