He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harold Cozart, Sr. and Martha Tidwell Cozart; and his son Clay. He is survived by: his wife Suzy; his daughters, Catherine (Paul Salcedo) and Candace (Steve Nelson); his stepdaughters, Betsy (Richie Hammond) and Katherine (Gerald Flouhouse); his grandchildren, Jack Salcedo, Charlie Salcedo, Joe Salcedo, Titus Davis, Curtis Davis, Caroline Davis, Claudia Davis, Harrison Flouhouse and Will Flouhouse; and his siblings, John Cozart (Kathy) and Martha (Raul Vasquez).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hillsboro Presbyterian Church (5820 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37220). Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hillsboro Presbyterian Church, the American Red Cross, or a charity of your choice.
