With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James A. Wright Jr. of Nashville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Hunt Wright and James Wright Sr.; his sister Donna Bower; his nephews, Jeffrey Bower and Kenny Wright; and his close friend Honey.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda; his son Brandon Gearlds (Victoria); his grandson Jeremy Gearlds; his siblings, Paulette Hill (Jimmy) and Mark Wright (Linda); and his close friends, Larry East, Terry Nolan and Ricky Morris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spring Hill Funeral Home (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216).
