He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Linwood Taylor of Hookerton, NC, Timmy Baysden of Jacksonville, NC and Barbara Baysden of Jacksonville, NC; his nieces, Stacey Baysden, Holly Taylor and Brandy Simpkins; his wife Virginia Simpkins; his daughter Kecia Bateman (Rhett); his grandchildren, Madalyn Garn (Nick) and Brayden Supak; and his great grandchild Baby Garn.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home (429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN 37214).
