She is survived by: her children, Edward Donnell Roberts, Joyce Battle, Matthew Battle, Jr. and Clevelen Brogdon (Sheila); her grandchildren, Courtney Moore, Marvin Whitman (Danielle), Dewayne Lewis and Michael Sowell; her cousins, Larry (Veronica), Lonnie (Cardelia), Walter Bender (Linda), Phyllis and Jason Talley; her uncles, William H. Bender and Herschell C. Roberson; her cousin Joy Bender McMurry; and her friends, Renda Talley, Ernest, Mary Crowder, Myles Owens, Herschell Roberson, Jr. and Genetta Cohn Butler. She is also survived by grandchildren, (7) great grandchildren, (3) nieces, (4) nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stateland Baptist Church (4650 Wright Ave, Old Hickory, TN 37138). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
