It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Hester (Nashville, Tennessee), born in Amory, Mississippi, who passed away on October 1, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clayton and Marguerite Dryden Walden; her siblings, Pete, Lawrence, Herbert Walden, Evelyn Walden, Helen Sims and Martha Nash; and her brothers-in-law, Jack Brown and Kenneth Hester.
She is survived by: her husband Clovis Dudley Hester; her children, Sheila McCollum of Amory, Tony Hester (Tami) of Hatley and Mitzi Hester (Phil Gordon) of Meridian; her grandchildren, Ashley Hester of Nashville, TN, Ross Hester (Cassie Atkins) of Hatley, Blake McCollum (Joyce Li) of Tupelo and Collin Hester (Sarah Beth Warner) of Florence, AL; her sisters, Ann Richardson (Arnold) of Becker and Louise Adams (Junior) of Ethelsville, AL; and her siblings-in-law, Joy Bell Walden of Wren, Glenda Brown and Danny Hester (Cassie).
