He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Shacklett and Helen Shacklett; and his son-in-law David Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Waddell Shacklett; his close friend Daisy; his children, Stacey Clayton (Randy), Casey Shacklett (Lisa) and Helen Marie; his grandchildren, Jacob Clayton, Carson Shacklett, Grant Shacklett, Haylie Shacklett, Andrew Johnson and Grace Ann Johnson; his great grandchildren, Chandler Clayton and Amelia Clayton; and his brothers, Ronnie Shacklett (Brenda), Steve Shacklett and David Shacklett (Julie).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Ellis Funeral Home & Cremation Service (2627 Nolensville Pk, Nashville, TN 37211). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Ellis Funeral Home (2627 Nolensville Pk, Nashville, TN 37211). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
