With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Wenzel of Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 16, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gus Wenzel; her parents, Zelma Swindell and Willie Swindell; and her siblings, Anna Ruth McGill, Carl Swindell, Paul Swindell, Phillip Swindell, Roy Swindell and James Swindell.

She is survived by: her children, Naomi and John Mark; and her siblings, Grace Horton, Frank Swindell, Fred Swindell, Clyde Swindell and Mark Swindell.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (1150 Dickerson Pike, Goodlettsville, TN 37072). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
