Though Dorothy Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dorothy Elizabeth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Warren Lambert. She is survived by: her sisters, Kathleen Jernigan (Stuart Kuperstock) of Donelson and Barbara Jernigan of Coos Harbor; and her nieces, Angela McGhee and Terri Meyer (Elisabeth Dykens).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy's honor can be sent to either the Vanderbilt University Kennedy Center or the Nashville Cat Rescue.
