She was predeceased by: her husband John Charles "J. C." McMahan; and her son Larry Allen McMahan. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Barrett (Larry); her grandchildren, Brandi Bland (Adam), Matthew Barrett (Chelsea) and Reed Allen McMahan; and her great grandchild Paisley Barrett.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel (5852 Nolensville Pk, Nashville, TN 37211). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the DeKalb County Memorial Gardens (2700 McMinnville Hwy, Smithville, TN 37166).
