He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Patton and Serriena Patton; and his siblings, William Patton (Ella), Cornelia Bellamy (Lee), Easter Kennedy John (Alex), Rena Harris and Frank Patton (Beverly).
He is survived by: his wife Martha Patton; his daughters, Valerie Patton and Lisa Blackshear (Danny); his grandchildren, Diamond Jackson, Daniel Blackshear (Teriyana) and Charity Blackshear; and his great grandchild Riley Kimbro. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Highland Hills Funeral Home & Crematory (2422 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew A. M. E. Church (1721 McKinney Ave, Nashville, TN 37208). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221).
