He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Muckle; and his daughter Betty Cassell. He is survived by: his children, Mary Bennett (Trip), Terry Campbell (Jeff), Diane Middleton (Keith), Lisa Ford and David Charles Muckle, Jr. (Tina); and his sister Marilyn Tucker. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (9100 Crockett Rd, Brentwood, TN 37027).
