He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Sr. Powers and Virginia Powers; his son Tony Powers; and his brother John Powers. He is survived by: his partner Jan; his son Tray; his grandson Gray Powers; and his granddaughters-in-law, Claudia Godfrey (Jim Godfrey), Mary Ann Baker (Danny Baker) and Anita Huey (Denis Huey). He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews, their spouses.
