He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Jones and Kathleen Jones; his siblings, George W. Jones, Jr. and Alma "Sue" Kidd; his children, Rhonda C. Jones, Gary W. Jones, Allen Quillen and Vince Quillen; his son-in-law Clift Fields; and his grandson Charles C. Jones, III.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Jones; his children, Janice E. Fields, Charles C. Jones, Jr., Christopher K. Jones, Stacey M. Peyton (Kevin), Dwayne Quillen (Melissa) and Doug Quillen; and his daughter-in-law Mary Winters. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchild.
