He was predeceased by: his daughter Sherrill Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Johnson; his stepchildren, Flamauion Gaines (Kent), Terrance Johnson (Deanna), Clistra Pinkerton, Valina Johnson, Charles "Chocolate" Johnson, Jr., Choya Johnson, Tarchelle Bryant (Damon), Deacon Allen Hall IV (Kandi) and Torrian Hall, Sr. (Jasmine); his sisters-in-law, Pamela Crowley and Susan Douglas (Elvis); and his friends, Max King, Tyrone Caruthers and Bernard Ahiatsi. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Highland Hills Funeral Home & Crematory (2422 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207). Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1515 Ann St, Nashville, TN 37216). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Middle Tn State Veterans Cemetery (7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221).
