She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Johnny L. Chumley, Jr. (Troy), Kevin D. Clay and Kenya R. Clay; her parents, Teresa Clay and Jerome Patton (Tracie); her grandmothers, Shirley Clay and Frances Patton Owens; and her sisters, Jeriesha Peoples and Jasmine Mitchell of Nashville. She was also cherished by three nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, extremely close cousins, friends and extended family.
