We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2024, at the age of 76, Brenda Faye Abernathy of Nashville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Brenda Faye leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gleason and Marie Bush Abernathy; and her brother Charles Edward Abernathy. She is survived by: her son Michael Abernathy (Tracey); her grandchildren, Robin (Kevin) and Jackson; and her pet Lulu.
Pallbearers will be Jackson Gordon, Kevin Reardon, Ryan Stearns, Richard Marr, Todd Wilburn and Johnny Mabry. ln lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Brenda to Powell's Chapel Baptist Church Children's Ministry, 8697 Powells Chapel Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.
