He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Leona Powers Dennis and Joseph Leonard Dennis; and his siblings, Paul Dennis (Jimmie), Juanita Church Pittman, Joe Dennis (Ruby) and Grady "Dwight" Dennis.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Kinzer Dennis; his children, Gregory Dennis (Dana) and Darla Dennis Tucker (Paul); his grandchildren, Tara Dennis Erwin (David), Megan Dennis Pullum (Bryce), Abbey Tucker, Bryant Tucker and Candace Tucker McConkey (Phillip); and his brother John "Billy Ray" Dennis (Anne). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Woodbine Funeral Home - Hickory Chapel (5852 Nolensville Pk, Nashville, TN 37211). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel (5852 Nolensville Pk, Nashville, TN 37211).
