She was predeceased by: her parents, J. R. Griffith and Margery Griffith of South Pittsburgh, TN; and her son Christopher Lee Sanders, MD of Eunice, LA.. She is survived by: her children, Kelley Elizabeth Cannon and Brett Stanford Sanders, MD of Chattanooga, TN.; and her grandchildren, Isaac Cannon, Ford Cannon, Emmeline Cannon, Isabel Sanders, Josette Sanders, Cole Sanders, Molly Sanders, Audrey Sanders, Franklin Sanders, Colin Sanders, Ryan Sanders and Evan Sanders.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marshall Donnelly Funeral Home (201 25th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37203). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Woodmont Christian Church (3601 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37215). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Cumberland View Cemetery.
