With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alfred J Haislip of Nashville, Tennessee, born in Lewisburg, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Alfred leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Alfred may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Mae Simmons Haislip and Samuel Floyd Haislip (Melba Sue Sheffield); and his siblings, Kathleen Beatty (Bill), Everage Haislip (Brownie), Kenneth Haislip (Marie), Alton Haislip (Reba) and Judith Eberts (Steve).
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Haislip (Jeanette) and Renee Black (Dale); his grandson Jordan Haislip (Crystal); and his great grandchild Hallston Haislip. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery (660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
