He was predeceased by: his parents, E. J. Daniel and Grace Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Daniel; his daughters, Felita Daniel-Sacagiu (Rani) and Nicole Hatchett-Daniel; his stepchildren, Andrew, Samuel and Brittany Bass; his grandchildren, Jermaine Smith Jr, Corbin Smith, Anissa Bass and Saniyah Wade; his sister Berlene Collier; his sister-in-law Lisa Carter (Phillip); his nieces, Sharon Nearn, Flora Blocker and Daziah Carter; his nephew D'Andre Carter; and his close friend Kebe Newman.
