He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Melton and Milbra Melton. He is survived by: his wife Kay Hewitt; his sister Joyce Melton; his children, Pamela James and Mark Melton (Linda); his grandchildren, Melissa Latta (Josh) and Daniel Melton (Ileana); and his great grandchildren, Lawson, Marleigh Kay Latta, Grace, Jaxson, Sofia Melton and Tatiana Price.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Antioch United Methodist Church and Shriners Children's Hospital.
