He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Mason and Ethue Rouse Mason Maxie; his wife Coattie Mason; his sister Sandra Jackson; and his brother-in-law L. A. Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Evelyn Mason of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Karl Rouse of West Paducah, Kentucky; his grandson Jacob Rouse of Vienna, Illinois; and his stepfather L. T. Maxie of West Paducah, Kentucky. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Pettus Rowland Funeral Home (1229 Madison St, Paducah, KY 42001). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:20 AM and from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
