He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betsy Coffman Johns; his children, Rebecca Johns-Wommack (Lane) of Murfreesboro, Tommy Johns of Fort Worth and Judd Johns of Boulder, Colorado; his sister Betty Jean Engleheart of Marble Hill; and his grandsons, Oscar Thomas Johns IV and Omar Tucker Johns.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers for donations to be made to the Blue Raider Athletic Association and the World Outreach Church Character Quest Scholarship Fund for youth.
