He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William and Lillie May Bogle Cooper; his wife Gracie May Barlow Cooper; his sons, Charles Ray Cooper and Ronnie Lynn Cooper; and his siblings, Lloyd William Cooper, Leonia Bogle, Annie Haynes, Lizzie Manus and Susie Goad.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Fisher, Barbara Jean Whitefield, Thomas Schafer and Jackie Schafer; his grandchildren, Tommy Cooper, Michelle Biggs, Jonathan Elrod, Natasha Hill, Thomas Scott, Crystal Singer, Abby Hicks and Sheri Fault; his great grandchildren, Lily Hill, Kimberly Hill, Cole Singer, Allissa Roberts, Naomi Fault, Sean Thomas Fault, Andrew Woods, Austin Woods, Adam Woods and Autumn Woods; and his great great grandchild Levi Sonnier (Brayden Woods).
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home (820 S Church St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
