She is survived by: her children, Shelley George and Donnie Lee George (Steven Abbott); her siblings, Danny Wells (Pat) and Frances Mangrum; her sisters-in-law, Juanita Ligon and Marie Barrett; and her caregiver Chanel Person.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
