It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Maxine Winfree (Murfreesboro, Tennessee), who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Shirley Maxine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley Maxine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Wesley Winfree; her son David Wesley Winfree; and her sisters, Betty Smithee and Wilma Jones. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Amber Davis (Phillip) and John Wesley Winfree; and her great grandchildren, Skyla, Piper Davis, Haven Michelle Winfree and Wyatt Wesley Winfree.
