Richard Randall Odom Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Randall Odom of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Eugene P. Odom and Margaret Ruth Odom of Murfreesboro; and his sister-in-law Ann Odom. He is survived by: his wife Janet Kemp Odom; his children, Lashlee Elizabeth Dobson (David) and William Tate Odom; his grandchildren, Libby Grace Dobson, Henry David Dobson and Wyatt Thomas Dobson; and his brothers, Dr. Stephen Odom (Deloris) and Dr. Terry Odom. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woodfin Funeral Chapel - Murfreesboro (1488 Lascassas Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
