He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard Barrett, Jr. and Helen Wade Barrett; and his brother Jim Barrett. He is survived by: his sister Diane Eubank (David "Bubba"); his sister-in-law Kay Barrett; and his nieces and nephews, Kesha Davenport (Dale), Jimmy Barrett (Shannon), Kenneth Barrett (Sandy) and Jody Eubank.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home (820 S Church St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
